Clay pots are sold by craftsmen along the road here in Zambia. They are beautiful to look at as they glisten in the sun, but they break easily. I would love to bring some home, but I have heard tales of them being reduced to dust inside baggage. I have seen clay pots before, but they have been fairly sturdy, thick, and fired in a kiln. These pots are fragile and liable to crumble.
We are like those clay pots. Without God's strength within us, we would shatter.
"But we have this treasure in jars of clay to show that this all-surpassing power is from God and not from us." ~2 Corinthians 4:7

We definitely had a sermon about this a few weeks back. The pots here are like yours there...fragile. Great analogy used! Can't wait to share stories :)
